A severe winter storm across New Mexico on Thursday, November 7th, knocked out power to the data center at the University of New Mexico, where EDI operates its primary infrastructure, including the EDI data repository and ezEML. We were informed this afternoon that power was successfully restored to the data center this morning (Saturday, November 9th). This is good news! However, data center personnel will require between 24 and 48 hours to fully restore services that were shut down due to the outage, assuming no other issues are discovered. EDI hopes to be operational again early next week, but we cannot say precisely when. We will inform you of any changes to our status as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience in this matter.
