Initial deployment date was October 20, 2009 using a U30 (http://onsetcomp.com) with nine probes: Air Temperature (S-THB), Relative Humidity (S-THB), Dew Point (S-THB), Precipitation (S.RGA) , Soil Water Content (S.SMA), Solar Radiation (S.LIB), Wind Speed (S.WCA), Gust Speed (S.WCA), and Wind Direction (S.WCA). On December 7, 2009, three soil temperature probes (S-TMB, at 0, 2, and 5 cm depth) began operation (Prior to 8/15/11, the soil moisture probes were incorrectly labeled, 5 cm, 0cm, 2cm is the correct order). The data logger was down for relocation from 10/3/2014 to 10/30/2014. Soil temperature probes were redeployed as labeled with a new probe for 5 cm. The temperature/relative humidity probe was also replaced. Following relocation of weather station and recalibration of probes, only manual data downloading was possible, and there were multiple instances of data loss due to logger malfunction (no data from 5/21/2016 to 9/15/216). Starting on September 15, 2016, an RX3000 remote data logger replaced the U30 remote datalogger. The RX3000 remote data logger remained active until 9/23/2021. The solar radiation probe failed on March 8, 2018, and the water content probe failed in early July, 2019. From initial launch on 10/20/2009 until 10/04/2015, data were downloaded from a HOBOlink Web page as comma delimited text files. Due to remote communication and data logger malfunction, only manual download of data was possible from 10/15/2015 to 06/24/2016. The order of recorded observations changed in after relocation of the weather station in November 2014. The original U30 replacement RX3000 data logger began operation 9/15/2016. Subsequent downloads of data were available through the HOBOLink Web page as comma delimited files. All comma delimited data files were concatenated with a standard order of probes to produce a single data file, “AllOF2009_2022.csv”.
