General Information
Data Package:
Local Identifier:edi.1400.1
Title:Lake Tahoe particle size distribution (PSD) data for discrete water samples
Alternate Identifier:DOI PLACE HOLDER
Abstract:

Particle size distribution data measured on discrete water samples from Lake Tahoe, VA/NV. There are two sampling stations Index (LTP, 39.0972 -120.155) and Mid-lake (MLTP, 39.1417 -120.0153). See methods for details

Methods and Protocols

These methods, instrumentation and/or protocols apply to all data in this dataset:

Methods and protocols used in the collection of this data package
Description:

Water samples are collected by a Van-Dorn sampler, and then transferred directly to 250ml Nalgene HDPE bottles and stored in cold room until analysis (max of 30 days). Water samples are analyzed by a Particle size distribution (PSD) measurement using Liquilaz LS200 (Particle Measurement Systems Inc., Boulder, Colorado, USA).

Instrument(s):Liquilaz LS200
