Behavioral responses were assessed in the laboratory of the two larval anurans, bullfrogs (Rana catesbeiana) and green frogs (R. clamitans), to three predator species: bluegill sunfish (Lepomis macrochirus), mudminnows (Umbra limi ), and larval dragonflies (Anax spp.). We then correlated these responses with growth performance of the two anurans when they competed in the field. All methods are detailed in the publication:
