Abstract:

We are investigating how apex predators (in this case, tiger sharks) can generate behaviorally-mediated trophic cascades that influence the structure, function, and processes of seagrass ecosystems. This project investigates multiple pathways through which behavioral control of prey can influence ecoystems.

Abstract:

We are investigating how apex predators (in this case, tiger sharks) can generate behaviorally-mediated trophic cascades that influence the structure, function, and processes of seagrass ecosystems. While the larger project focuses on how tiger sharks generate trophic cascades through multiple pathways, this project specifically focuses on teleost communities.
