A total of nine United States Historical Climatology Network datasets were downloaded from NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) website. The 9 sites consist of the following stations across the Chihuahuan Desert in the United States: JORNADA, STATE UNIV, ORO GRANDE, TULLAROSA, EL PASO, GAGE, SOCORRO, ELEPHANT BUTTE DAM and LOS LUNAS. Data from 01-01-1911 to 12-31-2021 was used due to the consistency in each dataset.
